Tracking the Public Procurement Bill in Parliament
The Public Procurement Bill was introduced to Parliament in June 2023. It was passed by the NA on 06 December and transmitted to the NCOP for concurrence.

The Standing Committee on Finance invited stakeholders and interested parties to submit written submissions on the Bill in August 2023.
The Procurement Reform Working Group (PRWG) made submissions to Parliament.
Public hearings were held in Parliament on 12 and 13 September, and the National Treasury responded to the submissions on 17 November 2023.
